1. Creating Your Account
Go to Register and fill in:
- Full Name, Email, and Mobile Number -- your mobile number is used to send you a login verification code.
- Course -- choose CA Intermediate or CA Final. This sets up your subject list and can't be changed later, so pick carefully.
- Password (at least 6 characters) and a confirmation.
- Tick the box to agree to our Privacy Policy.
Once you submit, your Progress Tracker is automatically set up with your course's subjects, and we send you a verification code -- see the next section.
2. Verifying Your Account (OTP)
Right after registering (and on every login), you'll be asked to enter two 6-digit codes: one sent to your email and one to your mobile number. Enter both and select Verify & Log In.
- Each code is valid for 10 minutes.
- If you don't receive a code, or it expires, use Resend both codes to get fresh ones.
- After 5 incorrect attempts, that code is locked for 5 minutes before you can try again -- this protects your account, so just wait it out and try again.
3. Logging In & Resetting Your Password
Use Log In with your email and password. If you've forgotten your password:
- Select Forgot password? and enter your registered email.
- Choose whether to receive your reset code by Email or Mobile.
- Enter the 6-digit code along with a new password (same 10-minute validity and lockout rules as above).
4. Enrolling in Mentorship
Once logged in, select Join Mentorship to open the checkout page. There you'll choose:
- Attempt -- the exam sitting you're preparing for. The price for each attempt is shown alongside it.
- Group -- Group 1, Group 2, or Both Groups.
- Coupon Code (optional) -- enter a code and select Apply if you have one.
Your selections save automatically as you make them, and an Order Summary shows your total. Double-check the email and mobile number shown -- that's where your payment receipt and mentor communications will go. Tick the box agreeing to our Refund & Cancellation Policy (please read it -- enrollment fees are non-refundable once paid, with limited exceptions), then select Pay to complete payment securely via Razorpay. You'll get a receipt by email, and your account unlocks full Mentorship access -- Schedule and Chat with Mentor -- right away.
5. Your Progress Tracker: Classes & Revision
Your Progress Tracker organizes your preparation into rounds:
- Classes -- one tracker for going through each chapter for the first time. Progress here is measured in hours: each chapter has a target number of hours, and your completed hours fill up the bar.
- Revision -- separate rounds (Revision 1, 2, 3, and you can add more) for revising what you've already studied. Progress here is measured by how many concepts you've marked complete, not hours.
Both are organized the same way underneath: Subjects → Chapters → Concepts. Once a chapter has concepts listed under it, its progress bar reflects how many of those concepts are checked off (this applies to Classes chapters too, once you've broken them into concepts).
6. Adding Subjects, Chapters & Concepts (My Syllabus)
Head to My Syllabus in the Progress Tracker tabs (or just press Alt + C from anywhere) -- this is the one place you build out your syllabus:
- Pick a Round (Classes or a Revision round).
- Pick a Subject, or add a custom one.
- Add a Chapter under that subject. For Classes chapters, also set a Target Hours value -- how many hours you expect that chapter to take. Adding a Classes chapter automatically creates a matching chapter in your existing Revision rounds too, so you don't have to re-type it.
- Add Concepts under a chapter -- for Revision, you can also set a target "complete by" date for each concept.
You can remove a chapter or concept at any time from the same screen using its Remove link -- removing a chapter also removes everything under it, so you'll get a confirmation prompt first.
To check off a concept, open that chapter's checklist and tick it -- your chapter, subject, and round progress bars update immediately.
7. Planning Your Study: The Target Calendar
The Target tab is a full calendar (Day/Week/Month views) for planning study sessions ahead of time. Select + New to add:
- Classes -- pick a Subject, Chapter, and optionally a Concept, then set Planned Hours.
- Revision -- pick a Round, Subject, Chapter, and the Concept you're revising, then set Planned Hours.
- Others -- anything else worth blocking time for (e.g. an interview or a break), with an optional note.
You can optionally set a start/end time for any entry -- if it overlaps something else already on your calendar that day, you'll be asked to adjust it.
This is how your Classes hours get credited. When you finish a planned Classes session, open it on the calendar and mark it complete -- its planned hours are added to that chapter's completed hours automatically. If your plans change, you can also add a short remark explaining why something was missed, instead of marking it complete.
8. Pomodoro Focus Timer
The Pomodoro tab is a standalone focus timer -- set your Focus, Short Break, and Long Break lengths, how many cycles before a long break, and optionally a chime and a custom background image. It's there to help you concentrate during a study session; it doesn't affect your tracker data.
9. Checking Your Progress: Reports
From a Round's page, select Generate Report for a printable, subject-by-subject breakdown -- target vs. completed hours for Classes, or completion status per concept for Revision. Use your browser's Print / Save as PDF option on that page to keep or share a copy.
10. Mentorship Sessions & Google Meet
Once you're enrolled, your mentor schedules your 1:1 sessions -- you'll see them under My Mentor → Schedule, each with a topic, date/time, and duration. When a session has a Google Meet link ready, a Join on Google Meet button appears; otherwise it shows "Link coming soon" until your mentor adds one. Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling sessions is handled by your mentor -- if you need a change, message them directly (see the next section).
11. Chatting With Your Mentor
Select My Mentor → Chat with Mentor to message your assigned mentor directly. It's a simple one-on-one text chat with read receipts, updating automatically as new messages arrive. An unread-count badge appears next to "My Mentor" whenever your mentor has sent you something new. If you haven't been matched with a mentor yet, this page will let you know once you have been.
12. Study Resources
The Resources page gives you quick access to official ICAI study material for your course -- Study Material, RTPs, MTPs, Past Question Papers, and Suggested Answers, organized by exam attempt. Most open right in the app; a few link out to ICAI's own website. We don't host or modify these documents -- they come straight from ICAI.
13. Account Settings: Your Data & Privacy
Open Account Settings from the profile menu to:
- View your details -- name, email, mobile number, and course.
- Export your data -- select Export My Data to download a JSON file with everything we hold about you: your profile, enrollments, full Progress Tracker, study plans and logs, sessions, and chat messages.
- Delete your account -- if you don't have an active paid Mentorship enrollment, you can permanently erase your profile and Progress Tracker yourself, right from this page (you'll confirm with your password and by typing "DELETE"). If you do have a paid enrollment, we ask you to email us instead (see below), since we're required to keep payment records for a while.
See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and why.
